• Service address and approximate geolocation
• Payment information (processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers)
• Appointment details, service preferences, and communications with stylists or support

We also collect limited technical information automatically (IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed) to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

• To create and manage your account
• To provide booking, scheduling, and payment processing for beauty services
• To send transactional SMS and email (see Section 4)
• To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations
• To improve the Service and respond to support requests

3. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed:

• With stylists / service providers assigned to fulfill your appointment (name, address, phone, appointment details).
• With service vendors who help us operate the Service (hosting, payment processing, SMS delivery via Twilio, email delivery, analytics) under contracts that restrict their use of the data.
• For legal reasons if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MobileSalon, our users, or others.
• In a business transaction such as a merger or acquisition, with notice to you where required.

We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or any consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data is used solely to deliver the messages you have requested.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

When you sign up at https://booking.mobilesalon.com/signup and check the SMS consent box, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from MobileSalon related to your account and appointments. Message types include:

• One-time verification codes during signup or login
• Appointment confirmations
• Date or time change notifications
• Appointment reminders
• New booking notifications (for stylists)
• Review or feedback confirmations

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. Msg & data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or reply HELP for assistance. You can also email support@mobilesalon.com to request opt-out. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile phone numbers and the consent you provide for SMS are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, and are not sold.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support@mobilesalon.com.

6. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including TLS in transit, encrypted storage of sensitive fields, and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@mobilesalon.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
